Mieczyslaw Karłowicz Philharmonic

The first concert in the Mieczyslaw Karłowicz Philharmonic was held on October 25, 1948. In 1958 the Philharmonic was named after Mieczyslaw Karłowicz. Thanks to a grant received from the Regional Operational Program of the West Pomeranian in 2011 a construction of the new building of the Philharmonic had begun. The new facility was opened in 2014. The new building has two concert halls for more than a thousand places. The symphony hall and chamber hall are equipped with Perseo seats. The eternal black combined with gold are a reflection of timeless elegance and good taste thanks to the design of a Spanish architect, who has put on simplicity with a touch of Spanish flair. The new building of the Philharmonic in Szczecin is one of the most known investments in the recent years in Poland.
